Planning Commission approval
The Santa Ana Planning Commission approves all phases of the building plans.

Head of School, Anthony Saba, is hired.
Anthony Saba, officially started today as the Academy's Head of School. Mr. Saba's credientials include a Bachelorís Degree from the University of Miami and a Masterís Degree in Education Administration from Point Loma University. His experience includes teaching math and business courses, coaching, and being Dean of Instruction, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal at various schools. Most recently, Mr. Saba was the Principal of Frazier Mount High School in Kern County, CA.

Architectural firm, LPA, is hired
Architectual firm LPA is hired to design The Academy. LPA is renowned for designing more than 50 high schools in California.

Escrow closed this month on a 7.1 acre parcel of land at 1901 Fairview St. in Santa Ana, CA on which The Academy will be built.
