About the event:
Orangewood Ambassadors are philanthropic partners whose annual gifts of $1,000 or more support the Foundation's efforts to break the cycle of abuse and neglect of Orange County's children. This annual lunch features an exciting and inspirational speaker which in the past has included Cal Ripken, Jr., author Harvey Mackay, Angels owner Arte Moreno, Olympic Gold Medallist Dan Jansen, Jerry West, John Wooden, Henry Samueli and Dick Enberg. Also during the lunch the General William Lyon Crystal Vision Award is presented to a worthy recipient who has given of his or her time and resources and who reflects the unending commitment to Orange County children that has been demonstrated by Orangewood’s founding chairman.
