John R. Wooden Classic Golf Tournament and Benefit Dinner

Description:
The John R. Wooden Classic is a three day celebration of the extraordinary legacy of excellence established by the legendary UCLA coach, John Wooden. Day one is the John R. Wooden Classic Golf Tournament at the Monarch Beach Golf Links on Thursday, December 7th. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and is followed by a 10 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament includes great tee prizes, an awards reception, raffle and a live auction.
Day two is the John R. Wooden Classic Benefit Dinner at the Anaheim Marriott hotel on Friday, December 8th. The dinner features the legendary Coach Wooden and the coaches from the four teams participating in the basketball doubleheader on Saturday. The evening also includes both live and silent auctions. VIP reception from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. followed by the dinner from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Proceeds from both the golf tournament and dinner benefit the Orangewood Children's Foundation and Special Olympics Southern California.
The three day event concludes on Saturday, December 9th with a doubleheader basketball game at the Honda Center featuring UCLA taking on Texas A&M in Game 1 and George Washington taking on USC in Game 2.
