Charity Events When: 12/11/2008 - 12/13/2008 Where: Varies Description: The John R. Wooden Classic Legendary Experience is a three-day celebration of the legendary UCLA basketball coach. The first two days are charity events that benefit Orangewood Children's Foundation and Special Olympics Southern California. The celebration culminates with the college basketball doubleheader. • Golf Tournament - Thursday, December 11 at Monarch Beach Golf Links: The tournament provides an opportunity to spend a beautiful day on a premier golf course and includes great tee prizes, an awards reception, raffle and a live auction. • Coaches Dinner - Friday, December 12 at the Anaheim Hilton: The Coaches Dinner is an enjoyable evening of entertainment and dining, featuring the four participating NCAA head coaches and Coach Wooden and including both live and silent auctions. • Basketball doubleheader - Saturday, December 13 at Honda Center: Featuring UCLA vs. DePaul and St. Mary's vs. San Diego State. |
