Description:
Please join superstar athletes, top celebrities, business and community leaders at the 2010 Athletes First Classic Gala & Golf Event. This two-day extravaganza at the beautiful St. Regis Resort, Monarch Beach will raise money for the abused and neglected children served by Orangewood Children’s Foundation. The gala is an evening of celebration, fine dining, entertainment, and the area's finest live and silent auctions featuring one-of-a-kind items. This year’s auction items include a Super Bowl trip for two, a one-week stay at a villa in Fiji, one-of-a-kind athlete experiences and other exciting vacation packages. Two individuals will receive the “Golden Heart Award”: Philanthropist Robert Barth, and Ray Lewis, All-Pro NFL Linebacker with the Baltimore Ravens and Founder of the Ray Lewis 52 Foundation. The following day, each golf foursome will include an athlete or celebrity as your fifth golfer.

Over 40 athletes are scheduled to attend including: Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers), Brandon Jacobs (New York Giants), Matt Cassel (Kansas City Chiefs), Mark Sanchez (New York Jets), Matt Schaub (Houston Texans), Reggie Wayne (Indianapolis Colts) and Todd Heap (Baltimore Ravens).

The events are hosted by athlete representation firm Athletes First and co-chaired by Orangewood board members Shannon Tarnutzer and Stephanie Argyros Gehl.
